Getting to Kona Rosewood

There are direct flights from major cities such as Denver, Salt Lake City, Phoenix, and Los Angeles to Kona International Airport (KOA).

You can also take private flights from the continental US to Kona. We’d recommend NetJets.

The Rosewood is 15 minutes from the airport and can be reached via Uber (cheapest, 15 minute wait), rental car, or private car. Reach out ot the concierge for information about private transfers: konavillage.concierge@rosewoodhotels.com.

Staying in Kona

We have arranged a partial property buyout of the Rosewood Kona Village. The rooms – and most events – will be located along the Northern half of the resort which will be privatized for our use. We kindly request that all guests stay onsite at the Rosewood to attend the weekend’s celebrations and to allow all to take advantage of the significantly discounted and subsidized rates. Please note, these rates will be available from the night of 11/30/26 through the night of 12/8/26, allowing for an extended vacation. Our planning team will reach out directly to each guest via email for customized booking assistance. Please reach out to them at guest@slater-events.com with any additional questions.

About Rosewood Kona Village

Rosewood Kona Village is a three-Michelin key luxury eco-resort located about 25 minutes north of Kailua-Kona, the second largest city on the Big Island. It is known for its wellness-based approach, with each room being a private bungalow or “hale.” Kona is located on the west side of the island, meaning the temperatures are usually mild and the climate is dry, though rain showers are not uncommon.
